"..and we'll make you RICH!" - I don't get this part of the contest title. Is that meant to be ironic/cynical or do you really think $400 equals rich or is that outstanding for a logo ?

Dear CAYA & all other designers: We apologize that we have not been able to give detailed feedback to each and every designer who submitted a design other than to simply give ratings and/or eliminate. Please understand we were limited by two major factors:

    (1) time constraints - it takes a lot of time to sit and give feedback to each and every design when a contest is only for 7 days and we get an average of 30 designs a day - we did give detailed comments/feedback the first 4 days after which we had to limit our feedback to ratings and/or eliminations; and

    (2) some of the designs were too simple or too amateurish or too unprofessional and we did not think they could be improved to meet our expectations, so rather than risk offending a designer with unflattering comments, we decided to simply give a rating and eliminate it so the designer did not spend more time on it only to have it rejected at the end anyway.

Finally, we are aware that our requirements were vague in some respects (fresh, unique, innovative, professional), but that was intentional - we did not want, in any way, to influence a designer's creativity - we wanted to see our brand through your vision. If this meant that some designers did not know what we wanted and came up with concepts that we ended up eliminating, we apologize, but its part of our approach to finding the designer and the design who really understands what we want and need.

Thank you ALL for participating and for working hard this past week - we truly appreciate your time and effort. We regret that we are unable to pick more than one winner, but look forward to seeing your designs in our future projects. We will strive very hard to be more specific in our feedback going forward. Best Wishes & Good Luck!

@CH: all we see here is elimination left and right.. at least SOME reaction.. however, not a single word which design concept we should pursue.. www2, 3D, flat, traditional, funny, cartoon like, corporate, color scheme..??? words like: illustrative, unique, innovative, fresh, and memorable.. are, in terms of a specific design project very vague! sorry.. carlo

To all designers: Thank you for your hard work, time, and efforts so far. Just wanted to remind you all that the logo concept you design has to work well with a product label as well. That is, the logo concept needs to be illustrative, unique, innovative, fresh, and memorable enough to make our product stand out from the hundreds of other similar products and yet be functional enough in terms of overall logo size and clarity to draw customers' attention. We need a combination of style and function to successfully brand / position our product and one of your designs, hopefully, can help us achieve that. Thanks.

Just to clarify, we are open to any of the following logo concepts variations:
    1. An illustration or image that communicates or reinforces our brand name along with our brand name written alongside or below it (OR)
    2. Just our brand name written in an innovative and memorable way without any illustration (OR)
    3. Incorporation of an illustration directly into our brand name
    4. Whatever other interpretations you all come up with

Even though there is no spacing between the words Nutri and Zen in our brand name, we would still like our logo concept to distinguish between the words in some way.

Finally, like we stated in our design brief, we do not want any elements of the yin/yang or other Chinese medicine references because we have nothing to do with Chinese medicine in any way. Thank you all for your hard work.
