Sorry - that should read "now the competition is closed"

Dear All,

Just a note to let you know that I have finally decided upon a winner. This was a very close run thing and I had to resort to asking other people to give their input in selecting a winner.

It has been a really long and unexpectedly hard task - you are all so incredibly talented and have made such an effort with this. I will certainly be returning to 99designs to post more competitions and will also be recommending to others seeking artwork that they so the same.

Thanks so much once again and if the system allows not that the competition is closed, I will endevour to give absolutely everyone feedback.

I don't appreciate designers making disparaging comments on other designers work Hamilton. This is 1) rude and 2) means that contest holders will view you in a very dim light indeed. So, do yourself a favour and button your typing fingers - there's a good chap. Joshua is right - #110 did read the brief and interpreted it in his way and did a very good job af executing it beautifully. It is just not quite what I am looking for at the moment. However he is to congratulated on his work.

Other people (you know who you are . . . ) have PMd me with negative comments about others too. Doing something like this won't endear you to anyone. it will turn off a contest holder. You must surely be aware that there is every chance that we will want to use you for other projects too - I know for sure that I am thinking this way. Most contest holders will be decent people - who like to deal with other decent people and we don't have time to deal with rudeness or prima donnas. Also, don't forget that you could submit a really good design that doesn't fit this brief but we may well come back to you in the future for something else. So stop moaning - again - you know who you are :-)

Hi Joshua, I did actually give generic feedback on all your wonderful designs (under one design otherwise I would simply be repeating myself) hope this makes sense - please check again.

Hi There - Re Western Union - I am based in the UK and in a pretty obscure part at that - so it is not straight forward for me to use WU. PayPal is easiest as I have an account. I could pay by Card though - if the designer had facilites to accept this.

OK - have given feedback to pretty much everyone I think. This is much harder than I thought it would be. As stated above - the standard is excellent - keep em coming. In my feedback I haven't actually thanked everyone personally - but please take it as read that I do appreciate your efforts and the time you have put into this. I cannot believe either, that I have to critique these entries - I feel as thogugh I don't have the right as you are so talented. I will amend the brief a little now as your entries have helped me to clarify the direction I wish to take - a little better. Kindest regards Jayney
