Brief Overview

Ten Foot Table is an internet marketing and website design company. As a Christian, it is important to me that my company honors God. The company name was inspired by the table my family sits around for meals and other activities. It really is the center of activity in our home. Our ten foot table is very solid and built out of oak. When I think of a table that big, I think of a bountiful harvest, the corporate boardroom, or the last supper of Jesus. Originally, we were an e-commerce company, selling sea salt, but that business shut down two years ago. The company is being re-launched to our new mission and that is helping local businesses with their on-line presence. The business is run off a small farm in south-central Iowa, but we reach into larger cities. We are so remote that the only internet access we have is satellite. I would like the logo to help build our brand and reputation as a professional company that can get the job done.

Target Audience

We will primarily be working with small to medium local businesses, although other kinds of clients are welcome too. While we are based on a small farm in rural Iowa, our clients could come from anywhere. I want our brand to reassure our clients that we can help them with their internet marketing or website development projects. Many companies don't know that customers are now using the internet to make decisions about which company to call for their needs instead of looking in the phone book. We want to help these businesses make the switch.

Requirements

I need the designer to be creative on this logo design. I don't know where to start, so I am looking for ideas. I would like the logo to be clean, simple, and crisp. In some manner, I would like it to connect Ten Foot Table with design and marketing. The logo should look professional, yet current. It should instill trust and speak of expertise. If possible, include the following tagline in the logo. "Internet Marketing for Your Business" The company's website, http://www.tenfoottable.com, will be built around the color scheme and design of the logo. (The current website was put together in a couple hours just to have something out there.) Because of this, I would like to know what colors and fonts were used in the design. The files we will require are: Print file format - .ai (CMYK) Web file format - .jpg, .png, and layered .psd (RGB) Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo. Important! Ask questions and offer suggestions. I am new at graphic design and don't always know what I need. Thanks, Mike
