Dear contestants, as you can see claurus won the contest. It was very hard to choose, because there were so many great designs to choose from. Like for example that of targa, maxsense, wave, ayola, JP Media and the others that were considered until the very last moment. Because I think a can use more than one design in the future and I hate to see all those great design go to waste, you're welcome to make me an offer (as long as you understand I can't buy everything:-) This contest was my first and a great success. The competition has ended. I will now eliminate all design that don't make my long shortlist. All designs with 4-5 automatically make that shortlist. The designs 1-3 are evaluated individually. I expect to anounce the winner in about 24 hours (in any case tomorrow)

This is really overwhelming. Do you really expect me to choose from al this. I do have my favourites but this going to be hard. Too hard maybe, meaning that I probably going to buy more designs than just the winner. I haven't decided on anything yet, but I hope you realize that I won't be buying runner ups for the same amount as the prize for the winner:-) I try to give you all some feedback.

When I mentioned speech balloons in my previous comment, I had expected that contestants would submit designs with speech balloons pointing downward (like the design submitted by Odza #121 and Ariyo#107). Now I like very much what Targa has done with #124, but since one of my plans is to use the logo in combination with pictures (photos, cartoons, ect) and videos, I thought it would be nice if the balloon (with the text: THIS or THIS CARTOON/ETC) would point at the topic featured in that particular picture or video (or whatever). In short, I love #124 and it's certainly one of my frontrunning favourits, but I still welcome other designs and I am looking forward to see how you all would translate this particular feedback into your next entries:-)

I think I've seen enough logo's with pens and feathers (some of which I like very much by the way:-); so if you're planning to give it one more shot, you might want to come up with a different approach like something with for example a globe, typewriters.... or much better
... something with SPEECH BALLOONS like Targa#36 and Wave#34 have done. I'd very much welcome some more variantions on this balloon idea. Okay I'll be back tomorrow.
