thanks Nouveau for your feed back///
I'm confused, I thought you wanted a serious and sophisticated logo. Honestly I would not take half these entries seriously; only about three out of them would be good for use on stationary, business cards, and other media. Look at logos for successful companies, none of them will be some complicated shiny thing with too many gradients. Think about it.
CallanRush,
You need to do some evolving yourself - feedback = respect!!!
Ciao.
hi....could you please provide some feedback? thanks
CallanRush,
Are you still working on feedback for everyone?
Would you consider western union for payment method? Thanks.
Hi, good day. Would you consider western union or xoom for payment, if ever :). Thank you
Thank you for your reply, CallanRush.
My position in asking these questions are not meant to justify your business model or intent. Indeed, when a designer attempts to interpret visually an image that represents and embraces your business model and philosophies, all information is considered to be vital. These are the impressions that drive our designs, and without clarification from the CH or client, our 'graphic vision' is blurred. All information is extremely relevant to the process.
Thank you!
Hi There,
WOW! Thank you for your very thoughtful comments!
Your questions are powerful - and - for now, let's just address the main issues.
Let go of any worry about the tag lines. That is not what we are asking you to address or include here...although your feedback is very welcome!
What we need is a stand along mark, without text please. I do, however, really appreciate your advice. We are refining as we go and our style guide is by no means etched in stone (your logo - if it wins - may be however!) I agree that "Beyond Leadership" may be super-fluous. We are in the process of getting our tag line down. Again, this is not for you to worry about when designing the logo - unless I am missing something?
As far as 'SEXY' and how it is a contributing factor to leadership - that is a longer conversation. You may just have to attend one of our events to find out exactly how it works (wink wink). The main point, very often sexual energy from the stage (or in a leadership role) gets a bad rap because it is used inappropriately, in a way that is not clean, or unconsciously. We stand for sexuality as one important part of an entire person. It does not need to be hidden, repressed, or ignored - but rather used in a way that inspires, enlightens, and informs.
The allusion to an Angel was an archetype we picked based on our Branding process. We are helping people really become "beings of light", "light workers" "luminaries"(don't get too literal here, but rather think metaphorical). Think of amazing inspring "luminaries" or people up to really great work in the world (like Martin Luther King), Angels on Earth! By the way, you not have to use an Angel in the image.
Please clarify the following based on your brief (your comments are in quotes):
"Brand Personality: Sexy, Inspiring, Cool , Passionate ,Generous, Brilliant, Leading Edge/next wave"
The term 'sexy'... how exactly is being sexy a contributing factor to leadership?
"Brand Archetype: Angel"
When I think of the term 'Angel' I don't visualize anything 'sexy'... so I am having a visual contradiction here. I'm seeing different messages. Maybe it's just me.
"Tag Line: Beyond Leadership and Magnetize, Mesmerize, Moneti$e"
Usually the $ sign in place of a letter in a word, is considered to be a trivial substitution for word impact. Do you actually want the $ symbol in this word?
Your brief states for the designer to think in terms of 'three' because everything you do is in terms of 3 including your business model. Your desired tag line then introduces a 4th concept, "Beyond Leadership". Again, I am getting a visual contradiction here. Perhaps if you want this tag line, it could be altered to say 'Beyond leadership... Magnetize, Mesmerize, Monetize'. This way, there are no contradictions, and you actually created a subtag. Better still, either use 'Beyond Leadership' or 'Magnetize, Mesmerize, Monetize'. Just my professional advice.
Thank you for your feedback.
