- Brief Overview
- Hi, call me NeilO. I started a two-fold project called FanSiter that needs a crisp, unique logo designed. One part of FanSiter is an e-zine-like WordPress blog which has daily posts spotlighting individual things in various categories (celebrities, games, musicians, etc.); like mini-biographies. The other part is a new platform I'm developing for the creation of fansites, hence where the name FanSite[r] (as in "fansite creator") came from.

- Target Audience
- My thought on the audience is split between the random web visitor and other web masters. I'd like the logo designed to be something I can use for little image "badges" for trading with other websites. For example, I am considering a "Fansite of the Day" showcase where I would give that site an image button to link back to the blog.
- Requirements
- Chinese fan: I have to mention this first and foremost. I absolutely love those fold-out, hand-held fans and I really want it to be a core part of the design. Green, black, and white primary colors. These happened to be the ones used for text in the WP template I chose, take a look at the header text above the banner graphic: http://fansiter.com/ "Widescreen". The design will need to be clipped somehow to fit in a square for favicon/blavatar, but its most prominent usage will be in the header graphic on the blog and 16:9'ish buttons for exchanging with webmasters.
