It's the same as the red dot logo, yet different. I think Mogeek's design is more elegant. Congrats Mogeek.

I don't think that Mogeek ever checked with the Red Dot Award logo.

Ok, this was way harder than I thought. A lot of good quality, but I finally narrowed the choice down to #108, #140 and #154. These three were very different but all captured something I want the company to be associated with. I could have used any of these, without doubt.
But I have to choose and my choice is #108. It symbolizes the web in a nice, subtle way I think.

Some of the entrants should check the Warner Corporation logo. There are somehow similarities.

Scrap the work? Screw that. I will submit it until it sells, Or i realize, It is garbage and Should Be Deleted.. lol

that goes without needing to be said... this guy seems to think that everytime you enter a contest you should scrap your old work and start fresh... in reality, one element that isn't particularly right for one company may be exactly what speaks to the customers for another product/service... hell, I've sold two logo's outside of sitepoint now just on the basis of the element after it wasn't chosen... I've entered 400 contests... I've won around 30... I guess i'm supposed to throw the other 370 concepts away according to this person...
Well, since I'm new to this place I'm going to stay clear of the discussion above. Don't know the unwritten rules, so to say. Just hoping that I haven't made anything "wrong". I can't comment on every entry - would have loved to, but there's not enough time. Indicating with the rating instead where 4 or more means I'm considering the entry. There may be work with great quality that I rate less than 4, and in those cases it's because I don't think the expression is right for the business it's supposed to represent.
On the question of originality I choose to assume that the idea of the winning entry won't be used again by the designer, and I think that's what a contest holder can ask for.

Actually it was pretty clear that the design would not be in the running... per the CH's star rating guidelines he clearly outlines at the top of the contest. worry about yourself from now on... I'll do me, You do you... ok.
