Design brief

Organization name

Theme Park Press

Description of business

Theme Park Press will publish print/electronic books about the Disney theme parks, as well as biographies of Disney Legends, examinations of Disney culture, and most other things Disney. In future, books about other theme parks may be released, but for now, the output is exclusively Disney, and will always be mostly Disney.

Further requirements

The challenge with this logo is striking a balance between whimsy and professionalism. I want to convey that Theme Park Press is a serious company that publishes fun books about Disney.

Please do not use any Disney characters, stock Disney images, stock Disney fonts, or anything else protected by copyright. I'm not looking for an "obvious" connection to Disney.

The logo should look good at different sizes: everything from a (roughly) 100px high website banner to the back of an XXL t-shirt.

I leave color up to you. The color(s) you choose for the logo will become the dominant color(s) for the website. Please avoid dark, drab colors; but also don't go too far in the opposite extreme and use garish, overly bright colors.

As with my last contest, I'll be very active with comments.

I may ask the person who wins this contest to do further (paid) work on website graphics, icons, etc.

Best of luck to everyone!
