Design brief

Organization name

Ruby's Rockets

Description of business

Our company makes unique and healthy frozen pops targeting kids ages 3-15. But it needs to catch the eyes of moms in a freezer case overrun with treats. What makes the pops unique is that these are desserts that moms will be thrilled to serve their kids any time of day. Some key ingredients are organic spinach, yams, & carrots though you'd never know it from the great taste of the organic fruits featuring kiwi, grape, and orange! First to market item.

Further requirements

The flavors are Orbit Orange Galaxy Geeen and Rocket Red.I don't want the logo to look  too "corporate" too "slick".

Please be sure to read company description. The logo could include any number of things: for example - if you decide to use the POPS in the logo they need to be the right colors, if you decide to use the the INGREDIENTS they need to look yummy, if you use the CHARACTER of "Ruby" (pic of real girl attached for the cute factor.) She should be no younger than 8 and no older than 12. and must appeal to both boys and girls. Maybe a tomboy. The most important thing about the Ruby character is that she looks hand drawn- and darned cute.....NOT stock NOT barbie.

She'll definitely appear on the Packaging as well-- but more fleshed out. She'll have a cape, an R on her shirt because she's on a mission to make dessert healthy. She'll be in jeans and high tops. She could have either auburn hair or blonde hair. BTW- I'll be submitting a contest for the packaging once I have a logo.

And lastly, Though the product is "Ruby's Rockets" the pops themselves are a barrel shape ( SEE PHOTO) They are not shaped like a real rocket pop. This doesn't mean you cant represent  the pops as rockets or the other way around but I don't want too much disappointment when consumers open the package and they aren't rocket shaped.

please feel free to play on any idea this info brings up for you.(incl. planets, earth, etc..) Most important thing to remember, is the  image must appeal more to 10 yr. olds than to 3 yr. olds. Don't be afraid of black lettering.
