All these shields look too childish and out of date. If you can make them look more sleek, professional and up-to-date then do it. If not then thank you for your time, you can stop.

OK guys, Thank you for all of your work thus far, we appreciate it. I've added 3 days to this because we really just want to see more improvements to what we have already seen. Would be great to see someone use our current FTR emblem in a badge form. Just take our current design and make it look better.

would love to see someone come up with a really bold idea that focuses heavily on the FTR portion of the logo. FTR is what everyone calls our site, and it needs to be the most prominent part of the logo. For The Record is secondary, and Sports needsot be something that could be swapped out for NEWS or Politics or whatevr spinoff site we create later.

This is the opposite of what I want. Creative and professional is what I'm looking for. I could have made this in Microsoft word.
