Debra Farrington's Pet Sitting Etc, Inc. /use only Pet Sitting Etc. for logo picked a winning design in their logo design contest

For just $295, they received 46 designs from 17 designers.

This process is so easy, even for someone who isn't skilled in designing, like me. If you aren't as clear as you thought you were, you'll see it in the designs and can make adjustments, add comments, and magically, the right designs start to appear. A great process, and I could not possibly be happier with the result. — Petsitteretc

Further requirements

I am looking to update our logo with something new. I would like it to have a dog and cat in it, and it has to give people that warm feeling they get when they see puppies and kittens. We are trying to convey that we love animals! If desired the logo could include a group of animals, including rabbits, small birds, gerbils or other pocket pets. A sort of "peaceable kingdom" perspective. The words Pet Sitting Etc. are all we use for the logo, rather than our whole name. Colors should be real colors of pets--browns, white, gold, black, etc. The majority of the people who take care of pet care scheduling are women, so we are going for something that appeals to women without turning men off. We want people to see the logo and saw or think: awwwwww, how cute! But we want it to be sophisticated as well, as the majority of our clients have expensive homes, etc. We will be using the logo on everything from business cards (small) to large banners when we are at a show, or magnets for our cars (large).
