We are happy to announce the winner of both the logo and templates contests as mrpsycho98. It was very tough to judge as all of our template entries were of a high enough standard for us to use for the website. The logos were of a very high standard too. We have got advice from a large number of people in the media industry. Please leave your entries on the contest if you can. If we decide to re-design the site in the future we may use a template from one of the other designers. Thanks again to all of the entrants.

We need to push ahead with our project so we have moved the closing date for this contest forward to midnight on Monday 7th May. One week less than the original time for the contest. Many thanks to all of our current entrants. We are guaranteeing a winner for both logo and template competitions.

Generally its best to design the site around the logo to make sure colours/general look etc match. Thats why I asked for them together. You are welcome to design a logo on its own if you like. If it can be made to match up with the site template we end up using and we like it more than any other logo then it could win the logo prize. You might need to tweak the logo a bit to make it match the site though.

OK thanks thats fine MelSgam. I just wanted to make sure people design the logo and site together - no point having a great logo and site if they dont match! But it makes sense to show us the logo first so thats ok if you want to do that.
