What I said was not intended to be nice or to make you upset. Please reread my post.
Last days ...not last day. Yes, I believed you worked hard on all ten posts. I even said I liked your logo. I was invited too. I said nothing mean about you or your work so don't be offended. "Throwing a curve ball" is a figure of speech. "Contemporary" was added to reflect the style of the subject.
Sorry you didn't understand my point or the fact that I was giving constructive criticism on the design in order to make it even better.
Sorry guys, I had like 10 posts and not the last day (look under kayaherb name), and I was invited at the begining by contest holder, because she liked my work. And I worked hard too, that comment from theguyintheback was not nice.

Wow! I believe that you may have some bitter contestants out there who worked very hard to meet your demands and then have a newcomer in the last days of and already extended deadline, throw out a "contemporary curve ball" and take it. But then again this is a contest for only $150 and one shouldn't quit there day job or work excessive hours on these contests either.
I do like the final logo for what it is but I hope you feel confident it will represent you the best. I think the logo still needs to be slightly modified to be completely effective in small print applications (work on the pins - thin outlines may disappear). I guess you don't want to be tied to just shorts and can use this logo to promote other apparel too. Good luck!
I would like to thank EVERY single participant for making this contest a highly enriching experience. I appreciate all of your work! It was a really tough decision to pick a winner.. I had at least 3 that were number 1 in my eyes. I might contact th other 2 privately.

*UPDATE* I appreciate all of you trying to accomodate my requests, however, I feel that I should let YOU, the artists, express your own ideas and offer your insight and vision. I have come to realize this point after receiving your feedback on how simpler is better and that little details get lost in print. Feel free to play around with the arrangement of the words as you see fit to fit. :-) I only request that you do not use any images of a strip-club nature. I will continue to extend the deadline until I find the design I want...I am leaning towards a minimalistic, possibly retro, and fun, hip design.
I extended the deadline one more time. Sorry for any inconveniences, but I need a little more time for this. Keep up the good spirit!

Hi all,
Due to my previous concept being a little hard to grasp, due to not getting enough entries to chose from, and due to the feedback from designers saying the details would get lost in some printings, I have decided to make changes to my logo contest, in order to avoid having to cancel it, and restart it.
I have made the idea simpler and more clear, as well as focused on a smaller area of the body, so that all details can be appreciated. I apologize for the inconvenience, and to make it up to those of you who have already submitted some options, I have decided to increase the amount of the prize, and I have extended the deadline for 10 more days.
I appreciate all of the entries so far and hope you give it another try. I am new to this and I am leraning a lot from this process. I do want a winner!
