Patience, as I am sure they are reviewing the designs to make a decision.

No reason to be rude. I was asked to focus on the server aspect instead of the money aspect and edited my original design to replace the bill with a server. I withdrew the design. I didn't believe I was using your concept but I withdrew my entry anyway. I do apologize.

I have to agree with Silver on this. Silver did use my design
concept in a contest and paid me half which was fair but she
asked me before hand and the host made an agreement to that
point if anyone else used my concept they would have to do
the same. It is a copyright violation using another's concept
design and running with it. I am easy to talk to and very
reasonable as should most designers on here, but you know
the rules don't use something that is not yours or your idea
with out an agreement period. I hope any designer on here
will do the right thing by ether making their own design and
not messing with my design concept or contact me and work out
    an agreement.

And please don't tell me the host told you to copy my work,
as you know the letter of the law wont side with anyone
over that and in fact can hurt the host legally as well. I
do answer my PMs as well as check them daily.

Is it just me or is it the norm to break copyright and swipe peoples design concepts. Good Example no one thought of having a person as the "i" in tip on this contest till Bombardierbob's design and he get's 4 stars and look another peron jumps on the band wagon and takes his idea. Wow how funny is that. The host knows it's not legal to say hey take Bob's work and make it better. I think you need to compensate Bob if you plan to take his concept and run with it, half the prize if a design uses that concept cause I know I hate to see the legal side to this possible nightmare.

I plan to have a design but smart enough not to rip another designer work without work out an agreement first. You know the damaged is done so I think the host or the guy that rips off Bob should make a deal fast before this gets reported to the staff. Not cool on the rip of the concept.

I really would like to see an icon with a waitor and maybe a towel over the arm. I didn't want to have to give that specific of direction because I didn't want to pigeon-hole the designers, but most of the designs have been geared more towards money instead of staff. So, I would like to see some entries leaning towards the actual staff...

Mcfluff has a point here cause the details are a bit vague as the
industry based around tips is pretty vast and depending on the
state or even country they dress from suits all the way down to
jeans and a t-shirt. Also what kind of files you want this for
i.e. photoshop's .psd or .eps or Illustrator's .ai, .eps, or .svg?
    You want a this a bitmap or vectored design? Color type preference;
RGB, CMYK or PANTONE? RGB is for web, CMYK & PANTONE are for
different kinds of printing. I based my design off the type you
find staff that gets tip here in NJ. But the questions Mcfluff and
myself ask should be addressed soon so this helps other designers
out on what you want and need before the contest expires!
