Yeah. I think the best man won on the day - it was certainly my favorite :-)
(Hmm.. now I have another use for my little doggy chasing his tail too, so I'm kinda glad he didn't win.)
Kudos to pb_design!
Good job pb_design!
thanks to everyone who participated!
winner is #251 (pb_design) , with runner-up licenses to TimeSnapper going to #162 (MrPositive) , #141 (wolv) and #221 (urlingo)
Can the CH *star* certain designs without logging on? just wondering because a number of my designs and others it appears automatically receive two stars that have been submitted within the time of the CH last logging into the system. I am new to this arena and would like to know. Thanks! :0
Jeff & Joel, I would really appreciate some feedback on #229! (particulary a simple explanation why e.g. someone else's copy of my idea (that totally ignores the presence of mine) gets more stars... heh, ok, I know it's just a logo contest, but it still does require effort!)
that is, the rounded corners on the logo might not show up on the dark rendering entry #275
Jeff and Joel, I need your generosity in 'star'ring the entries #221 and #206 :) Thanks!
TimeSnapper looks like a neat piece of software :) Thanks! (BTW: a little feedback #162 & #179 is more than welcome) Cheers!
cool! thanks jatwood.
I have confirmation from Leon Bambrick of TimeSnapper that he will offer complimentary TimeSnapper licenses to the winning designers and the two runners up! http://www.timesnapper.com/
I have awarded a handful of five stars now that I have a better sense of what I like and don't like.
I like #113
i like #91 and #88
i like #95 (really expresses what getting stackoverflow-ed feels like). #89 is pretty simple and clear too
Thanks Mudeth.
I really thought I'd come up with a winner - and a different take on Stack Overflow (from a recursion angle). Before that I had done a generic looking stack (on fire) but thought it was unoriginal.
Ah well.. Good luck with yours, though!
sambeau, that's really cool!
jatwood, you mean two-dimensional? It may be one-dimensional in computer-speak, but the visual analogue is two-dimensional, since a variable by itself is one-dimensional. Sorry for nitpicking. :)
