I would suggest to everyone not to do anything just yet, because checking the domain carciti.com shows that the status of the URL has changed since the contest started, and doing a search for "carciti" shows that the CH has other business ventures. Perhaps there is an honest reason for the delay. The CH may not know that a winner need be declared promptly, or he hasn't been able to access the account.
to FFrancis:
If you are going to abandon the contest, at least have the respect to declare who the winners of the contest are, and explain why the winner wasn't good enough. Also be aware that without payment, none of the designs in this contest may be used for any purpose, as copyright law stipulates immediate protection once proof of creation is established.

When feedback isn't given to the earlier entries, I'd advise that further ones should be added/created. It's a sign ya know./

Imperialshark a comment for you is that If you see someone using a template don't tar us ordinal designers who work hard at our craft as you do with the same stick if you see someone use templates direct the comments to them personally as your comments I found offensive as web designer

I agree with the point on using templates or look a likes but as a real designer you can spot the templates a mile off and sooner or later those designers that do these sort of things will be delt with sitepoint.

so to come in with such a bold statement is rude and may show that in the real world this does happen no matter what you do in life and to grow up and except it

I do apologize to everyone in myself acting in haste and not simply bringing it to the attention of the contest holder and also sitepoint moderators. My intentions were not to put a cloud over the contest. So for that I do apologize, the last weeks for me have consisted in some disappointing contest results, due to abandoned contests, empty promises and just an over all bad week. Seeing someone trying to sneak a template in put me over the edge and really for me its easy to spot because ive been in the game a long time. What urks me is to see some of the newer designers who just got in the game to be taken advantage of as well as it not being fair to the contest holders. So VK, Randy, Contestants, New and Veteran Designers, and especially Sitepoint.com I do apologize for not handling the ball better and next time I spot a template "terrorist" I will bring it "quietly" to the proper peoples attention. I love Sitepoint and what it stands for so I apologize for letting a little bit of emotions out.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program.....
