Thanks to everyone for their submissions. As jcmontero points out the winner is the one whose work WE BELIEVE best represents our company. Congratulations to the winner but also to milkochua whose submission #964 was a very close second. Unfortunately we only need one logo.

Guys, remember that is the CH who decides what he likes.
If he thinks that is the design which better represents the image for his brand, well, good for him.
Naturally, this has nothing to do with dealing with a design firm, where you have direct relationship with the client.
Obviously you don't get that for 300 bucks...

Customer Satisfaction.. It's the only work of designers.. i nver want to argue.. if my designs did't get any stars means, am nt capable to satisfy this PARTICULAR client. still 1 more day is there.. i will try... :)

mauk1 - I'm not sure if you've ever run a business but the reason we've outsourced the logo work is because we're really busy. If we'd had 200 entries we may have been able to give a little more feedback than we have but with over a thousand entries it's unfortunate but the best we can do is to eliminate those that aren't close.
We've made 35 comments to people whose work we wanted to see developed. I'm sorry we're unable to comment on every one of the 1100 plus submissions.
Our business is well established and we need a new logo. If you think that we'd set up a fake competition in order to save $310 it probably says more about you than us. We have a couple of serious contenders in mind at the moment but don't want to identify exactly which ones as we'd like to see some more original work rather than more copycat versions of well rated submissions. We've guaranteed the prize and there will be a winner whose logo we will use. We don't know any of the designers or anyone associated with this site.
And from that many designs so few not eliminated. I consider this from the lack of feedback and from the approach that the CH,has a fake. Good luck to all
