For all those that participated, I would like to say thank you! This has been a very rewarding experience for us. After having a terrible time locally, we decided to take a chance and have been BLOWN away by the response and creativity of this group. It was very difficult to pick a winner with so many qualified entries. We were like a kid in the candy store! But when it came down too it, we decided to go with JR and #237. Simple, effective, creative and relevent. All the qualities we were looking for! Keep an eye out for other contests from us! We will definitely be using this community again!!

Designers... the prize is now $500. After all of these designs and the creativity show, I figured it was only fair. Also, all designs are now game. Forget about previous designs. Let's see what you guys have. Get crazy, but stay professional. No cartoons. Still plenty of time left. No design has won yet, so don't be afraid based on the number of entries! There are only two five star entries so far!

Just a note to designers. I am eliminating designs as you revise them. If the revision is better than the original, I will always eliminate the prior designs. I provide feedback as I review them and then as I eliminate them. We at Washers, Inc. are overwhelmed at the response and very much look forward to the rest of the contest! If you have questions, please ask them or if you want guidance on a design! I am looking to get the best possible design for our company!

Red is also a bold color. That could be an additional color used. Stay on the darker half of the spectrum, no fire reds. Stay creative!!

Stylized W's aren't really what we're looking for. We like the idea of a stand alone logo. Think Strong. Bold. Classic. Professional.

Think about pharmaceutical type logos, medical, DNA, etc. Take a look at comments on other logos to get an idea of what we're looking for.
