Thanks very much for your patience. We're now in a position to tell you where we are.

We're pleased to announce that, subject to some final design tweaks, Dreamlink is the winner of the competition, both for the logo and the stationary.

A notable mention must go to Grade, whose design was generally considered to be one of the most beautiful of the lot. It was a close call, but in the end it was felt that Dreamlink's bolder design translated better to the variety of media types that we'll need it for.

Thanks to everyone else who entered too. We'll be posting the competition for the website design in the near future, and hope that you'll enjoy building on the theme. Dreamlink, we'll be in touch to discuss the final tweaks required.

Hi everyone. Thanks all, for your high quality entries. I think we've got some great final entries from Grade and Dreamlink, but it was very hard to select down to just two - there were lots of other very good entries too.

I'm afraid xmas has got in the way of our decision-making process, as some of the team are off on holiday. I will try to get a final decision on both competitions as soon as I can, but thank you for your patience in the meantime.

Right, we've had another review, and we've narrowed the logo competition down to just two entrants. Well done you two - thanks to everyone else for your entries. The standard was very high, and it has been hard to get to this point.

Regarding stationary, this competition is still wide open. We'll make that decision when we've finalised the logo we're going with. But, to re-state, we're happy to see entries from different people than the main logo winner, if you can make use of their logo in an imaginative way. We're after business cards, letter head and powerpoint presentation.

Hi everyone. Glad you like the rating system! We're trying it on this contest, and if it works well we'll use it again when it comes to designing the website.

Right. We've had a team review of all the entries so far. I'm now going to go through and upgrade to 3* all those who have been shortlisted because they've got something right! The rest of you, I'm going to change your designs to "no longer under consideration", to keep them out the way, and so everyone knows the designs that are scoring well with my clients. However, we'd still love more ideas from you, if you think you can improve your design further.

I would recommend everyone reads the feedback we provide to those with 3 stars - because this will tell you what we've liked so far.

With regard to the Stationary element of the competition, we'll be treating this separate to the logo, so if you can come up with some really good word, powerpoint and business card templates that will work with another person's logo, that's still great. We'll choose a stationary winner that we feel is going to work well with the logo design we choose - that might be the same person, but might not.

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd give you some info about how we're treating the star system.

1* - Nothing special
2* - Good enough to show the team and consider
3* - Once we've reviewed as a team, those we like enough to want to see more will be upgraded to 3*
4* - Used to indicate front-runners
5* - We'll allocate these to the final 2 or 3 designs in the frame, before selecting a winner.

We're planning on having a big review session tomorrow morning, so will be providing more feedback to those who have already entered then.

Personally, I think Grade's interpretation of a bird is completely different to Rudy's. Admittedly it is a bird, but Liberty -> Freedom -> birds in flight isn't so amazingly original.

BTW, though, well done both Rudy and Grade - it's nice to see some people thinking about other possible routes to explore, and I like both entries.
