TO ALL DESIGNERS - please view some of the feedback we have provided to some of your proposed designs, this will help you design a logo which fits more in line with our brief, and therefore could help you win the contest!

In addition, "loldraakje" asked for the pound sign we liked to be posted, yet no-one used it in any of the designs!!

When submitting designs - please ensure you read the brief fully, if you have any queries - do ask. No point in wasting your and our time with designs which do not fit the brief!!

have a look at the pound sign above on the link above which shows a pound sign above like the transparent grey 'vortex' behind it.

The pound sign is on www.dreamstime.com and the id number of the pound sign picture is: 2773775.

We like the design, but the black is too heavy - would prefer it to be much lighter perhaps a mid steel grey. Also like the transparent grey 'vortex' behind it. Not sure what the font is, but keen to see a design using similar font for the words "everyday finance"....

How about the pound sign being relatively transparent, slightly overlapping behind the 'words'and the pale grey vortex fading into the background - not sure if I am articulating what is in my head - but over to you design experts!!

Wouldn't it be much easier if you could just show that 'pound sign' here so that we wouldn't have to contact you all one by one?

Our suggestion of using a'play on words' was merely an idea, we are happy to look at such designs and ALL others as well - including using the pound sign to the left hand side of 'Everyday Finance'. The important emphasis is something that looks clean and edgy, contemporary yet curved/multi dimensional, urban and clever. We have found a 'pound sign' that we like and would like it encorporated into a design, please contact us for further information.

Read the summary...Require a dynamic logo which will comprise of the the 'British Pound Sign' and the words 'Everyday Finance' next to it. The key phrase here is "next to it" not "in place of the "E". That's a different idea. Yes it's obvious but you still can't copy it.

Actually... "perhaps using the '£' as a play on words within 'Everyday Finance'." are the exact words... Its fair game for everybody to do this as it was there suggestion...

Well I didn't use the concept myself but c'mon, the idea is pretty obvious. It was the first thing I thought about when designing my logo.

Alex Marchuk was the first to substitute the pound sign for the "E" in everyday finance. The CH just asked for the British pound sign they didn't say anything about substituting it for the "E"...so that's Alex's idea. You can't copy the concept.
