And Rofe there are actually 4 ogee curves in my logo for the price of 1.
It doesn't use the ogee arch, but it does use the ogee curve - very effectively and creatively - and my original brief and subsequent comments to many entrants made it clear that a curve or an arch would be considered

As per my comment #3 above, we are considering entries today (Monday) and will hopefully have a decision made by Wednesday
The CH gave good feedback and was very forth coming with his C&C so I'm guessing he must be having a hard time with his decission or prehaps he is asking for second oppinions, Don't panic!
What's the word on this one? Been closed for a while whithout an update.

It's the S-shaped curve made up with a convex curve that goes into a concave curve. These two curves have an equal radius.
BTW, 4 of my comments on entries have been lost!
I would like to get away from the curly braces idea (that I came up with originally) and see original graphic alternatives.
For the record, the decision making process is as follows:
After the contest finishes on Friday night the UK team (4 of us) will vote over the weekend and then submit recommendations on the Monday to the owner who will have final say. Of course he has just gone to Australia at short notice but hopefully that won't be a problem getting a decision made. I hope we can get a decision by Wednesday at the latest (but this is no promise!)
Would it help to list the entries that make the shortlist?
