Hey everyone,
I drew the contest to a close today, marking #192 (ulahts) the winner. This was a really tough decision, because I was extremely happy with a lot of the logos. Ultimately, ulahts design took the prize because of the vision he had for the brand, and not just the logo.
Thank you all so much. This has been a great experience, and I'm inspired to become a better graphic designer because of your efforts.

Hey everyone. The contest will probably draw to a close a day early, perhaps even a little earlier. I need to get moving on business cards, the web site, etc. sooner rather than later. Early tomorrow I will be talking to all the 4 stars and working on finalized logos. I will also be doing a last round of judging.
Essentially, this is your last shot to give me your very very very best.

Alright everyone, I've narrowed it down even further. I had to drop a lot of entries today.
I've gone ahead and starred all the remaining designs. Here's what I'm thinking:
5 stars - No need to change this logo. It's a final contender, and I like it as is.
4 stars - Final contender, but I may need you to tweak it a little. I'll let you know what I'd like to see soon enough.
3 stars - Your design is close, but you either need to integrate feedback or combine several of your best aspects.. Basically, I like it, but it's not 100% there. It could easily be a 4 star with some work.
2 stars - Reviewed it, the idea is good, but you could probably use some polish, or it needs to "sit" with me longer.
I won't mess with 1 stars, no point, right?

Also, at this point, I expect fewer designs of a higher quality. Don't send me 10 designs. Send me your best 1 or 2.
My partner and I did some cleaning and dropped quite a few designs. Again, nothing personal. I had to make some tough choices, but ultimately dropped designs based on the reasons I said above. Thanks everyone.
These are such great submissions. I really need to get better at logo design, you guys probably make a killing doing this :)
