Please read feedback on my next to last entry, as I was unable to get a revision in before the contest ended. Thank you :)

as a clarification for all: a workshop logo should focus just on the purpose of the workshop. it is irrelevant what else the pro dev college does. we are not interested in a visualization of our company name or general goal to educate software developers.

the logo requested here must focus on "workshop to educate software developers to do better presentations, to better educate others". that´s it. there need not be any text in the logo. especially our domain prodevcollege.de may be absent.

as for the difference between company and workshop: a company is an organization, a workshop is a single product. we just want to visualize one of our products.

also this should be seen completely and utterly separated from any other contest we migh have running at sitepoint. different and unreleated products should be visualize differently and unrelated. we are not (!) looking for a common CI.

I've just noticed the sub-line for the first logo. That was a slip of the finger. But it could be very true!!!!

I have submitted a design, but please do not consider it a final submission. It is no more than an example for feedback to help all designers here. The four glass symbols are from another client of mine to represent seasons. This is just a concept idea so that we all have a better understanding of your requirements. Your fullest feedback is helpful.

Thanks for your feedback. Perhaps it would be better to hold the contest as one instead of splitting it. If you could provide more information on the different workshops you hold and also intend to hold, this would give us a better idea of your needs.

It would also help 'unify' a workshop design. I present a vey basic example in my next entry.

ArrGee: Your question seems to be very helpful:
Difference between company logo and workshop logo:

Company logo would require the use of (just) the term "Professional Developer College". This is NOT what we are looking for.
Workshop logo requires the visualization of the key elements of just the workshop: training, intense, speaking/presenting, software/technical topics.

"we are looking for a workshop logo, not a company logo"

Can you provide a definition of the difference between company and workshop please?

It would help us all I think.

Same organisation. Two services. Do you want the services to be seen as completely different?

No, the two contests are about different kinds of workshops of the same company. Please read the contest descriptions carefully. Thx.
