Congratulations to wolv. After a lot of pondering -- there were some many cool entries -- I chose his for it's clean look and striking attitude. Thanks to everyone who entered. There was a ton of great work on display. And keep an eye out for a coded template contest I'll be starting in the next week to use wolv's logo in a new a new, pulp influenced design for Symbolic Order.
Like I said, I wasn't accusing of a rip, it's just what the S reminds me of. Believe me, if it was a real rip there would be something done about it.
Oh come on guys, no need to say that, there are millions of logos in the world, so there can be similarities
I may be in if the contest goes to its current deadline.
Also, LogoB, I'm not accusing you of a rip, but the S of your design reminds me heavily of the Safeway logo. XD!

I'm not necessarily intending to keep the banner. My intent was to rebuild the banner around the new logo as part of a wholesale redesign of the site. Use it for inspiration if you like, but making something that works with that banner is by no means necessary.
Question. Are you keeping the same banner with the new logo? would help with the design....
