Design brief

Brief Summary

We require a logo to be used on websites and also for a sticker. The logo requires the words "Pets Welcome".

So if for example a hotel allows pets to stay in the hotel, then they can display the "Pets Welcome" sticker on their website. I would also like to use the same design to supply a physical sticker that these premises can stick on their windows.

Brand Name

Pets Welcome

Description

Logo required to promote pet friendly establishments.

The logo needs to incorporate the words "Pets Welcome" and this needs to stand out well. The design should also work well as a sticker. A circular design may therefore work well but this is not a definite requirement.

The website associated with the logo is PetsWelcome.net

I imagine the logo to have some sort of illustration depicting the fact that pets are welcome at the establishment. The establishmnent could be anything such as a hotel, a beach, a pub/bar, a bus etc etc. However please just use your imagination and come up with whatever ideas you think will be most suitable.

Whilst the idea is to cover all common pets, in reality dogs are the most likely pet that this relates to (and possibly cats too) so don't feel that you need to incorporate every possible pet into the design. If you just want to include a dog that is fine, but I would not suggest just having one of any other type of pet. A dog and a cat together would also be fine.

Just an idea but you could try a play on the standard "No dogs" sign that is diaplayed on shop windows etc...

Though instead of a red circle (depicting warning) you could do a red heart. This is just an idea that sprung to mind and may or may not work so I don't want everyone to do variations of this.

Ideally the logo design should be such that if you just caught a glimpse of the logo without reading the text "Pets Welcome", it should be immediately obvious what the logo meant.
For example in this http://www.freesignage.co.uk/pdfthumbs/prohibition/no_dogs_prohibition_sign.png if you did not see the text, it would be pretty obvious it meant "No Dogs"
