    Wow !!! I have been overwhelmed with the product you designers have submitted !!! Amazing skills here. This was my first contest, so I was clueless as to pretty much everything. Thanks so much to those of you who explained the contest process to me, told me how things operate, and to everyone who submitted designs. I've been recommending this site to all saying they can find great designers here.

    As far as my contest goes, I had to pick one winner, which was incredibly difficult for me to do, so I used the approach that got me through high school calculus ... I cheated. Though submission #134 is the winner for this contest, as I think it fits perfectly with my AmyNews goals, I really liked #58, and have awarded the same prize to the designer (absent the official title thingy because I haven't figured out if you can technically award two prizes in one contest) and will be using #58 for my professional site. Two prizes, one contest. It's just been crazy here ! :)

    Thanks again to everyone who submitted a design. I have a contest starting in a few days for another website of mine. I hope ya'll will consider participating there. It might be more fun for you as I have really no preconceived vision as to what I'm looking for and creativity is free to go nuts.

    There are a lot of good designs thats for sure! It's best to always keep referring back to your brief and then its as simple as 'does this tick all the boxes.' But because its for yourself, the logo that you want can change :) Which isn't a problem, but it can be when you're spoilt for choice :D

    Holy krap, I need a drink !!! I got it down to the final 20, but it was not easy. I'm trying to offer some feedback on most, especially as a designer is eliminated. If you have any questions though and want feedback, just shoot me a PM. Thanks again for making this so darn difficult for me !

    either way it's fine... I think elimination is better, because you technically are eliminating from consideration part of them.

    I'm definitely keeping in mind how they look in black/white, that's a good point. As far as being set on the @ sign, I very much want an @ sign incorporated, however, there are a couple designs without that I find nice, so when it gets down to the final 10 or so, I'm thinking there will be a couple without the @ used.

    Yuhp, you're right, there are a lot of 4 - 5 stars. Instead of re-rating them though, I was using the eliminate option. Do you designers prefer the rating system or the elimination tag?

    There are quite a lot of 4-5 star designs, it depends on how set you are on having the @ symbol because there are quite a few that do not fulfil that. I think you may also want to consider how the logo would look in black/white or greyscale as they should work like that as well.

    I think, your biggest problem will be, that you marked too many logos by 4 or 5 stars. You should reduce it (for example mark by 4 or 5 only 1-2 best logos per designer, and leave the others without stars). Then you can use filter at the top right.. and choose "Show only... entries with 4 or 5 stars". Choosing the right one should be a bit easier then.
