"Contest holders" usually come here once in a while and don't know the rules.
I made two designs which equals about 3 -4 hours of my time. Yet it sits here, not eliminated or with feedback. The only one without feedback. I dont mind being eliminated. At least i know that it was considered. But to be rude and just ignore the entries i took the time to create really pisses me off!
When are you contests holders gonna get a clue?
Checker, You could leave some feedback before eliminating entries you know.

guys, it is your job to educate the client about what makes an effective logo (although it is a little hard in this contest environment). Every client likes to play a graphic designer, you just have to learn how to deal with it.
I agree with you clashmore, and everyone that wants glossy, shiny, web 2.0 logos sitting on pretty glass floors will only be getting a new logo in a few years when that look goes outdated.
"Too simple"..."add some shine and shadow"...this is why I hate SitePoint. More emphasis is given to how glossy or "Web 2.0" something looks than how original the concept is. Attention contest holders: adding a reflection to a crappy logo does not change the fact that it is a crappy logo.
