If you can produce something of this quality than you are on the right track
To All Designers : OK, it seems by mentioning the "child appeal" factor we may have misled you into thinking we want a childish logo. We did stress that it should have more of a professional look. So I think it would be best for you to leave out the "symbol" part of the logo and it is ok if it is just text in a professional font (unless you can include a very subtle symbol). Also, try and stick to just Black/Grey for the wording and one color for the symbol if you include a symbol. To give you all a good idea of what we are looking for here are some examples of the professional style we require :

The name of the magazine is : PEDO Workplace . It will be a Print version and Onlien version so thing "magazine" when designing the logo
As long as the word PEDO is in capital letters. Will have to see how it fits into the design to make a judjment of how prominent it should be.
