7-4-09 CONTEST SUMMARY CHANGE: Having a logo that can be easily embroidered is no longer a requirement for the contest. It is certainly a nice option if it can be converted but not a requirement.

KBRUCE...I am glad you asked that question...I also realized that the design that I wanted really was going to embroider very well. I appreciate you taking that into consideration with your designs (which I do like a lot). When I put the contest up I was not all that familiar with logos being embroidered. Since then I have learned a little more and I am probably not going to get what I want if having the design embroidered is a requirement.

I am making the embroidered requirement an option and not necessarily a logo requirement.

Medea...another good question...thank you...you are right, I guess a box house with some glass windows could be any sort of house. The clarification was stated to let designers know I would rather have a box house with some glass windows representing what could be perceived as a press box versus plain, old box. Make sense?

Ok folks...we have 4 more days and I just wanted to send out a clarification.

I am looking for a logo designed with the key part of my business name associated to it...Press Box. For those of you that do not know what a press box is I placed a definition from Wikipedia in an earlier comment. I would like the logo to have a "press box" type design to it like several of the other designers have done. It can be a traditional press box or a more creative press box but I want my customers to see my logo and understand that a press box is associated to a sporting event and the press covering a sporting event (i.e. sports photography).

I really do not want a logo with just a some cool looking text and a box either in 2D or 3D. Some really neat designs have been submitted with a cool looking box but it is really not what I am looking for. Please be creative and I understand that some designers might not be familiar with the press box concept or even sports and I would be than happy to answer any questions. Good luck.

JBC, good question and observation...you are correct, I did not want a sport specific design however I did like the other elements of the design (font, colors, balance, etc.) that I felt deserved 5 stars based on my requirements. I has intentions to discuss the sports figures with the designer. Again, good question and thank you.
