Well..the contest has ended and again, I thank all who took the time to contribute their designs. It was an extremely tough decision..split in many ways amongst my friends and family members. I chose to go with Design #12 which just seemed to catch my eye. It also matches with some of the collateral materials that I already have. I have enjoyed this website contest and will consider future usage for other grreat ideas! Thanks and have a pleasant evening. Jo Davis

I am sorry that we have had some controversy associated with the design of my logo. I am VERY appreciative of each and every design submitted and am most pleased with the various designs that have been submitted. I will announce the winner tomorrow evening. Again, my thanks for each and every designers efforts!
pegatinas, you used no harsh words, it just seemed like you were going to embarass this person. it's really disrespecful to try and incintuate aurelius's design.
i'll explain: the two designs do share ONE similarity, which is a "paw-heart" graphic. But the difference is that aurelius took an idea from it and altered it to a more "complete" graphic with accompanying text. (no offense designpresident)
they're not even the same type of artwork.

Whoa, talk about cyberbulling broken lizard2. You sound well experienced in that area. Please point out the "harsh words" that I used. That's all I ask. Point 'em out.
aurelius, pay no attention to people like pegantinas here. it's really sad that some of the talented people on here have no professionalism at all. if something needs to be said, can't we all tell a concern with some TACT and respect.
And although I am new here myself, I have come across some remarks of others that would be considered cyberbulling. It's ridiculous that some are just down right mean. there's no real reason for such harsh words.
This is a community built for designers, and as such designers, we should learn to respect one another.
Yes it is the same concept. And the concept is, 2 paws in the shape of a heart. The image and fonts are different but the "CONCEPT" is the same.
Well, i'm not sure if it's the same concept... but i can say his work is really good.
