Congrats to Palmateer for winning this contest. The non-profit organization loved the logo designs. Thank you to everyone who submitted a design, this was a very high quality contest. I will be submitting a new contest in April so please look out for me.

Hi Everyone, I will not be able to speak to the decision maker until Monday. Please stay tuned and send any new ideas my way.

To keep everyone update, I just spoke with the non-profit regarding the "Corporate Key" contest. From that conversation, they have already said they like Palmateer's design. Palmateer submitted logos for both contests, and is a frontrunner. The non-profit liked the playful font, the use of their main logo's colors, and the use of a hand in the design. This contest is still wide open, but I wanted to give you my client's feedback as soon as I received it.

Although it has not been said, it seems that designers will have a better chance if they submit designs for both contests and make them complementary to each other (Corporate Key and Helping Hands) and the main logo found at www.youthandfamilies.org.

Hi guys, thanks for the compliments. Shame to see the same concept used elsewhere though! Why is it the good ideas have always been thought of by someone else first!? Heh

Hi Everyone, thank you for all of your submissions. Great stuff! Please also keep in mind that I have two separate logo contests for the same organization. I would to see each logo "Helping Hands" and "Corporate Key" complement each other as well as the main logo for Centers for Youth and Familes.

A good example of this is the recent entry by BrainBox submitted to the "corporate key" contest. The entry shows designs for both logos side by side.

unfortunately, the UW-Waukesha Mentor program thought of it first: http://www.waukesha.uwc.edu/sc/mentor.html
