James Thomas Heating and Cooling is a service company.  We market indoor comfort.  We emphasis a whole house approach to comfort (as opposed to fixing a broken furnace).  We think through indoor comfort issues and present the home / building owner with solutions relating to air quality, temperature and energy savings. 

We'd like to distinguish ourselves from the usual blue / red air movement style logos.  We are looking for something more representative of the whole house comfort concept which includes pure clean air, perfect temperature throughout, comfortable happy occupants.

Some images that come to mind are: buildings, homes, leaves (for the clean air aspect of our business), windows (into a comfortable environment).  Colors that come to mind are blue, red, green but I leave it up to your descretion. 

James Thomas is the company name.  Heating and Cooling is the tag line.  Because of the importance of placement on the sides of our vans, we would like a logo that stylizes James Thomas alone or one that uses some type of symbol within the name (like on the O) or to the side of the name.  We do not want a graphic above the name because we need the name high up on the side of the vans for maximum readability.

I like maybe one color in the name but use some outlines, variations in color or shadows.
