Substanz's frog is really close to what we're looking for. A realistic, cute, yet cartoonish frog that looks happy/friendly, but still professional.

Here are a few ideas we've had for possible cool logos:

    1. The word "FROGit" or "FrogIt" in cool text, each word being a different color. Then a frog to the right of the text with an visual trail behind it showing where it had bounced on the text.

    2. The word "FROGit" or "FrogIt" in cool text, each word being a different color. Then a frog either grabbing the dot of the 'i' with it's tongue or a fly that's in place of the dot of the 'i'.

    3. The word "FROGit" or "FrogIt" in cool text, each word being a different color. Make the 'o' of frog a magnifying glass with a blown up frog eye in it.

Again, you aren't required to follow these suggestions, but we just thought these ideas might look good.

We eventually want to have the frog grabbing things with his tongue. It would be easiest to do this if the frog was seperate from the words "FROGit". We thought it might be cool to have the dot on the "i" be a fly and have the frog grab it with his tongue.

We also really like the cartoon look for the frog. We want to put this frog to animation in the near future so keep that in mind when designing the frogs.

Aristotel79: It is going to be more like buy.com or bizrate.com. We will allow merchants to add products to our site so customers can come and compare products and make an educated purchase. Merchants will add products and shoppers will be the ones shopping on our site.

Mona Lisa Shelton: Thanks for the heads up. We will get the domain and put a temporary page up today.

Get site as soon as you can. I had actually lost a domain name that I had purchased. What happened?
I can't tell you it was never clear to me. Was refunded, but lost the domain I wanted :(
What concerns me is you have the domain but it's showing as open to buy.

Tell us more. Is it your site like amazon.com or something like buy.com.
Please more details. Is it business to business or business to consumer

After viewing the first few entries, we had a thought. We would like to see an entire frog on the logo rather than just a head or a foot.

I have also been asked about our domain name. If you visit frogit.com, nothing is there. We have recently purchased this domain and we will simply put a holder page up in the next few days until we are ready to launch the site.
