It is the designers responsibility to read and respect the rules on this board.

When we click on the submit an entry button we get a red warning box that says:

Please read the Guidelines for Designers before proceeding. Failure to follow guidelines may result in your entry or your account being removed. Do not submit or link to any adult material, including nudity. Submitting work which is not your own, or which borrows elements or design concepts from others, could expose you to severe legal penalties by the rightful owner of the work.

You wouldn't see this unless you were on the designers side of the contest. :)

I should have said it myself but wasn't sure how to go about it.

Which of course wasn't well done of me because ignoring it doesn't really help the other designers on this board.

The rules are there for a reason and while I know it is usually just an over site on the designers part and not malicious behavior the rules still apply and must be learned.

Anywhoooo - thanks again for saying what I didn't.

i think Tanyaslogos was the first to use the concept of two spoons to make an S. All copies on her concept shouldnt even be in consideration. While the contest holder asked for a spoon in the logo, using them to make the S was not mentioned. Her idea is genuine and hers alone. People should read the sitepoint rules on someone elses concept.
