i appreciate the crit. but no worries, if my design is selected, i'm not going to drop off the face of the planet. if they feel that something needs to be explored further, i am more than willing to oblige. and i'm pretty sure we all know what you were trying to achieve with this post, no? ;) let's go ahead and let them make up their own minds. have a good one.
Crose, as far as i'm concerned mate and for the sake of CH too, one prerequisite for good logo is readibility legible. Crose, i'm pretty sure that your highly rated design, will not have the clear readibility factor, when it scaled down. furthermore, can it be printed on smaller size, when the text is already that small? A lot of tiny details will be washed out when it come to print medium. :)

AS we only have a few more days left in this contest. i wanted to let you guys know where i am going with all the great designs that have been entered. Fonts i like 65, 96, 115, 116. Color Pallets i like 94, 96, 115, 50, 98. see what else we can come up with today. Thanks.
#74 and #75 are, in my opinion, the best solutions here.

Do you like seeing Glossy finishes like 34 and 25 or more straight colors like 19, 15, 14?
Hey guys, Starting to get on the right track. A few things
1. Please do not use an image that is not original. I want something that has meaning and character. I have many high end clients, Marriott, Hilton, Etc and it looks cheezy with clipart in your logo. Please try to be original
2. Colors are on the right track. Darker colors, black, gray, dark olive green, Dark blues, graphite.
3. I will be using this image on letter heads, business cards, on my website, so keep all that in mind.

Starting to like where this is going but still far from what i am looking for. PLEASE STEAR AWAY FROM USING CLIP ART BUILDING PHOTOS. If you can, come up with a peice that resembles construction without having a building. Also, a dark color palette is looking good. Further, As for fonts, i like Tw Cen MT, Kartika, Corbel, Vrinda, Century Gothic and the like (but am always open to your style.)
Too graphic oriented..needs to be a simpler and cleaner. Darker Colors so i can use it on letterheads, business cards etc.
