Brief Summary

This Flash multi-media player has recently moved to a new domain and needs a new logo. The product's key selling points are ease of use, flexibility and wealth of features. There can be at least some "tech" feel to the logo but not too much.

Brand Name

MC Media Player

Description
Desired Style
Maybe techy (not necessarily). Friendly without being too cartoony or cheap.
Accepted File Formats
Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai)

You can see the product at www.mcmediaplayer.com. Note that the website itself is awaiting a proper design so don't take the current design (or lack thereof) into account.

I need a clean and fairly simple logo that can include a "technology" feel but must be friendly. I don't want it to be so techy that it's off-putting for non-geeks.

There are no specific size requirements but I'd like the logo to work in a couple of different aspect ratios, ie reasonably wide/rectangular as well as square. You could provide either two different versions, or one version that could easily be adapted.

You would be free to use the logo as an example in your portfolio (this product is quite popular).
