The blue and yellow logo is one we've had one but is to 'cartoonish'. The other image is of a 'dagon' (half man, half fish, half something else). The CEO really likes the style of the dagon image. But something non-creepy looking. How's that for vague? ;-)

I'm not suggesting anyone rip this guy off, but this is an interesting take on a Dagon:

Dagon was also an ancient Mesopotamian vegetation god:

and was the subject of one H.P. Lovecraft book. Although I'd stay away from that idea since I don't want to raise the ire of Cthulhu.

Some traditions have a dagon looking identical to a merman (male mermaid) but others put more emphasis on the fish sprinkled with a bit of a dragon-like styling.
