CloseDesign brief
Presence TeleCare operates a web platform that allows speech therapists (a.k.a. SLPs) to provide therapy via video conference to children in rural schools, where SLPs are in short supply. The platform includes an easy-to-use video conferencing tool along with integrated games and activities. SLPs log on to the site and initiate sessions with 1-3 childrent where they practice making sounds while playing fun games together. We want a logo that conveys warmth, professionalism and a feeling of connection. Although we are serving kids, we do not want a kid-oriented logo. Our 3 main audiences are SLPs, school district officials and parents. They are not early adopters of technology, so a hip, tech-oriented logo won't appeal to them. We prefer to emphasize how our platform connects people, is friendly and easy to use, is high-quality and professional, and provides care to kids who need it. The logo should only have two colors, one of which is some kind of green. Other words we associate with ourselves include: loyal, relationship, neighbor, connected, caring, trusted, nurturing, reliable and fun.
Presence TeleCare
Speech therapists (a.k.a. SLPs) - 97.5% women, all over the US including rural areas, age 30-60 with average of 45, mostly white
School district administrators - people looking for reliable, trustworthy, high-quality vendors. perhaps suspicious of trying new things. concerned about the welfare of the kids. stressed out and over-burdened.
Parents - perhaps suspicious of whether speech therapy by video conference really works for their kids. concerned above all else about the quality of therapy for the children.
Kids - open to trying new technology. want something fun and engaging.
Description above captures most of it.
Two colors, one of which is green. Keep it simple, clean and professional.
