CRSS is a non-profit organization who's mission is to to teach school board members and superintendents how to transform their districts for high student achievement.
The organization wants to grow and start to create and use marketing collateral (for the first time since it's inception in 2001). The first step was hoped to be a renaming initiative but this has been stalled a bit for a board review. Ultimately we believe the name will change to McAdams Systems but that has not been approved as of yet.
That said, our our desire is to have a new company mark /icon be produced as we have some materials that MUST be produced prior the final decision on the new name.
Our hope is that the icon will be more representative of our mission/vision, hopefully in a clever and somewhat abstract design that is appropriate to our target market (School Board Members and Superintendents) and expresses our brand proposition.
There is nothing from the current logo that must be honored in any way although slight deviations in the text portion will most likely be accepted versus huge shifts in style. The current icon has no real meaning or value to the organization and as such requires any real attention.
This icon must stand on it's own and be able to be integrated into the design of the logotype of the new name when that is final. PLEASE DO NOT INTEGRATE CRSS INTO THE DESIGN OF THE ICON.
