no, i didn't even say your name. it was CH who blamed me for that and i was saying that that wasn't the case because i designed it a few weaks ago. If i had problems with your entry i would sent you a PM.
It was just the way i was accused of something i didn't do. CH made his appologies already so for me it's case closed.

    @ Rambler001
When you are saying "it was the other way around" it sounds like I borrowed your idea. I wasn't even in that contest, also I took a closer look and your ppl seam rather sporty/happy, hands up and jumping out of the spiral (facing exterior) while mine are sitting around a table. Its not like you or me invented the 120Ëš rotation, its been used since always. :)

Designers, one more thing... If you submit something that you think visually represents what we are trying to communicate please add a short description of how what you've submitted meets that criteria.

    Thanks!

Hello all, a couple of notes on the design brief and our expectations:

The name CRSS is on its way out and will be replaced very soon, so this icon needs to stand on it's own. It would probably make the most sense to use something close to the existing logotype as seen here: http://www.crss.org for the part that says CRSS.

Secondly, we are hoping to see some ideas that somehow graphically represent the idea of "school board training for higher student achievement" (some are getting close so far but some are still not there at all). We realize that this may be challenging which is why we set the prize money so high.

Thanks to all, and good luck!

To those concerned about our previous contests:

The reason we have yet to declare a winner on the previous contests is because we have not been able to get one of the key players in that project to make a decision. The issue really has nothing to do with the design work, but has unfortunately created a temporary roadblock which we are working hard to resolve.

We WILL resolve the issue very soon and declare a winner in both contests and the winner will be paid. If I did not feel so sure that things would be worked out I would just choose my favorite and declare a winner, but that would be foolish at this moment because I do expect to work the situation out with the real decision-maker and he is the one who need to choose the winning design. In any case, you can count on the fact that these contests will have winners declared within the next week.

I have not disappeared, always been available to answer any questions concerning the status of the contests, worked to update the people involved as often as possible and have NEVER screwed anyone over on any project, anywhere.

As far as this contest goes, the decision-makers are anxious and ready to make a decision as there are several pieces that need to be produced within the next 3 weeks that this logo will be a part of. I will post some additional design related comments shortly. Thanks for participating!

I wouldn't trust this CH, guys.

The below was said on his last contests: FAIR WARNING.
    ******************************************************
I am very sorry this contest has gone a bit stale. The project is at a standstill on an executive level but we expect to see some movement on it next week as the decision-makers are supposed to meet on Wednesday to discuss the matter.

Thank you all for your patience and for producing such great work on such a tight time frame. I promise, we will get back to you all on this ASAP.

this is a rough idea, but I could clean it up if you like the idea of a stack of books. I think the end product will have different color books.
