GraphPad Software was founded by its CEO, Dr. Harvey Motulsky, who at the time was on the faculty of the Dept. of Pharmacology at the University of California San Diego. In addition to doing research in receptor pharmacology, Dr. Motulsky also taught biostatistics to medical and graduate students and wrote the text Intuitive Biostatistics. Dr. Motulsky's pharmacology and statistics background make him uniquely qualified to provide researchers with the software features and support they require.
Although we have a few products Prism is our flagship product that accounts for a majority of our sales. The name "GraphPad" came about because the earliest versions of our software actually controlled a pen plotting device that wrote on pad of graph paper.

Our target audience includes scientist and researchers looking to do data analysis. We have customers world-wide at organizations involved in the biotech/pharma, medical and food/tobacco/cosmetics industries. We also have customers from government and educational institutions.
In addition to selling our software, the graphpad.com website has several resources for people interested in statistics and data analysis.

* We are currently happy with our logo for Prism (http://www.graphpad.com/prism/) The new logo must harmonize with it.
* Primarily used on the website and other digital media but should be usable in print as well (i.e. business cards, brochures)
* Source files in SVG format. Also provide in jpg and png formats.
