Allthough as newcommer, i learned my lesson :)... don't put too much work in your designs...for example as pointed out by other designers, the runner up #22 is just a picture taken from the web...so i'll think twice to work so hard again to come up with so many selfmade work :)
With all respect offcourse to the CH, don't get me wrong :)...

I only did it because you started to throw your first message on this public board. I saw too many abuse of this public board in other contest between designers, and don't want to have part in this. So, much appreciated to do so.

jpan06, i do respect your vision, and honestly i even haven't looked at your entries before submitting mine.
But hey..this is the same saying : you are using a football !!! get your own concept.... Footballs,cards,etc.. are obvious choices in this contest., and hardly to claim as "original ideas". Look at more contest on 99designs , i saw many variants of this theme (talkin symbols) in other contest:

As long as a designer creativaly do something else with it, in my opinion this is fine.
Your work is very nice and creative, and so do i think about mine. Both can stand easily next to eachother without the need to enter in discussions about "stealing ideas". It is up the contest holder to choose.
If you feel this way, you could say this about 90% of all entries in this contest who are using a football. No hard feelings, and you are welcome to react :)..but i would suggest to do this through private messages.

#34 by far is better. #22 is a picture of an actual ball how much skill does that take
