A brief scan of my last contest will show a previous logo design for a florist I worked for. No longer under their employment, definitely seeking something cool for my own independent floral design business (aka FLAIR).
I adore the submissions from the previous contest. Looking for something similar in style (sleek, contemporary, trendy, etc).
Upscale/modern feel.
DO NOT feel obligated to use something floral in the design. Though I am a floral designer, I would like to convey a trendy yet striking commercial appeal. I am looking to use the logo in various web and print applications. Do not need/want anything bulky or overly detailed.
Nothing too feminine.
Feel free to use color as necessary but keep in mind that I would prefer a limited use of color. I would want the logo to look great regardless of what it is used on (ie various backgrounds, etc).
Would prefer a symbol to identify the business but would also want text. Keep in mind that the text and symbol SHOULD be able to work independently (ie. in stickers, stamps, etc). Similarly to previous contest, I like classic symbols like the fleur de lis, the heraldic symbol in my avatar, etc. Something applicable should work. Willing to give any symbol a chance providing that the designer can make it work with the business name.
I found this design challenge a bit daunting myself so I am hosting another contest. I have complete faith in the designers here.
