I am just starting out as a photographer, building a portfolio and a website. I am looking for a logo that will tie everything together: the site, business cards, future marketing material, etc.
It should work best on white and should contain some color, but I also want it to work in grayscale as well as on most background colors if necessary.
An element of the logo should work independently as a signature or watermark on photos. - Actions

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! I had to get lots of help to make the final decision because so many good designs were submitted. I really appreciate the time and effort involved. I know it's not easy to make a great design.

Because of some database problems during the final hours of this contest, it has been re-opened and extended by 24 hours. This is to give people a chance to submit designs which they created before the contest ended but were unable to submit.

Wow! Several nice designs in only a few hours. Very cool. I like many of the colorful tones selected here, but please make them bold enough to stand out from the white background. The pastels are often too light to work effectively.
