Forget what I said about narrowing the logos down to 2.
We wanted to use the concept of one in with another logo. We offer a prize to the guy with the concept for us to incorporate - he said no, so we're fully open to designs again.
Also, the terms are that we pay via PayPal.
If you don't accept payment via PayPal simply don't enter.

The client has narrowed the logos down to 2 and isn't keen on seeing more (aside from some edits given to the 2 entrants).

We're leaning towards a very simple logo of the name without an icon attached.
Stylising the eye with glasses or a lens is working for us.
Simple is good because it will be, presumably, people with bad eyes looking.
