    nothing personal! just fact... funny.
    maybe replacement of colors helps?

hey folks. thought we'd share something fun (and a glimpse at our shirt). during this process we printed out the entries and put them on our shirt. here's a picture of several of the logo concepts scattered on one of our shirts. our website is just a placeholder. once we select the winning logo, we'll be opening a contest for a website design! http://www.ribbedtee.com/uploads/ri…ontest.jpg

Thanks again for being part of our contest.

    @ mcros

Thanks for your candid comments ;)

We truly appreciate the work that every single one of the talented designers has submitted into our contest. We've gotten some great submissions and we have worked hard to provide prompt, detailed, and what we have felt are fair comments on all the designs.

To be fair, if you review our original post, the last sentence clearly stated that we didn't want to overly influence the design direction, but wanted to share one high-level idea we had been contemplating. As the contest grew in popularity, the variety of logo designs increased and we refined our vision of what we felt matched the brand identity we are trying to create.

The contest will be ending soon and we will be awarding the $200 price to one lucky designer. As I'm sure everyone can imagine, with so many great ideas coming from talented designer such as yourself, it is getting increasingly harder for us to choose just one logo for our business. We want to be sure we select a logo that will work for us as we grow our business.

We hope you understand, appreciate your participation in our contest, and we apologize in advance if you feel we've done anything wrong.

    Best Wishes!

Note to contest entrants: To help us narrow down our search (and the list), we've removed any logo designs rated under 3 stars and have also removed older versions of logo concepts from the same designer. Thanks so much for participating in our contest!

Hello again folks! We've identified a couple more things to keep in mind as you create your designs:

    1. the logo will be used in the label area (inner back by the collar) on the shirt, not across the front. so the logo will be used in relatively small (2.5" x 1") area, so it will have to look good and clear in a small area. Of course it will also be used on the website and marketing material which will have a little larger area (so it has to look good bigger too). This means that it's better to design a more horizontal logo than vertical, although anything that looks good in a 2.5" wide x 1" high area will be given serious consideration.

    2. we've seen the "RT" used literally in some of the logo concepts. While we do like some of the designs, we'd prefer it if the designers took a more abstract approach. We already know the name of the company is RibbedTee, it's not necessary to use "RT" as an image in the logo.

Thanks again folks. We hope all this feedback is helpful to all of you.

Hi there designers! Let me say again how very much we appreciate all the designs. We'd like to see some designs that don't use the "T" as a t-shirt. Many of you have provided great design ideas with that concept and we really do like those that are rated 4 stars. But, we'd like to see other concepts. Remember, we're creating a new undershirt that will hopefully sell next to Hanes and Fruit of the Loom undershirts. We need an image that is professional as well as fresh and clean. Thanks!
