I think its on the font that make you lose ^^

A contestant has been chosen as the winner for this event! Thank you all for your submissions, and hard work.
Best of luck in your future contests,
-eartheasy
Thanks for the submissions, everyone. Sorry for the absence of feedback to the end. The long weekend cut into this project. The submissions are being evaluated, and a winner will be decided shortly.
Best regards,
-eartheasy
Almost 80 entries still without feedback or ratings...mmmm
contest still on?
thanks dddesign :) appreciated.
entz very good work great logo
Thanks again for all the submissions, everyone. There are some really creative ideas and approaches coming out.
A general comment on typography:
Typography is the most important part of this logo. We don't want any big bold graphical elements, just a really nice typographic treatment of "eartheasy" "ideas for environmentally sustainable living", complemented by a simple, elegant logo.
The font needs to be friendly yet professional. Not too bold, yet not too narrow: a balance. We don't want all caps for "eartheasy", but the slogan might look good in all caps. We are interested in seeing a number of approaches from different typesets. We can't imagine too many nice serif fonts to do the job, but there are quite a few san-serif we like.
It would also be great to see some slab serif experimentation. Perhaps a not-too-slab, slab serif font (something subtle).
A final note on layout and colour:
From what we have seen so far, the layouts we like best are horizontal: Logo to the left, title and slogan to the right. Colour combinations we like so far are either "green and blue" "green and grey", or "blue and grey" (or two shades of one colour).
There has been some great experimentation with the palm leaf concept so far, but don't hold back if you have your own creative, Zen idea for a subtle, elegant logo which communicates our message.
This general feedback is a result of seeing all your excellent submissions so far. Thank you for your patience in working with us.
Just a general note: we would like to see less "single green leaf" concepts, as they are kind of overdone on "green" sites. Instead, some kind of stylized (yet recognizable) palm leaf concept would be more in line with eartheasy's image. The palm leaf is a theme we will be carrying forward with our new site re-design. The palm not only represents nature, but also peace.
Additional note: any current logos we have ranked higher are so because of a number of variables (typography, colour scheme, layout etc). This does not mean that we like a specific aspect (such as one containing a single green leaf) - so don't jump to conclusions without reading the feedback. Sorry for any confusion, feel free to email questions or comments.
You mention the leaf concept is overdone (which is true) yet you gave 4 stars to a single green leaf design, 3 stars to others etc.
It leads me to surmise you either gave your comments too soon or you don't really know what you want?!
Just wondered...

Thanks to everyone who has submitted so far! The designs look great, and are headed in the right direction. Feedback for each coming soon...
