- Brief Overview
- Centripetal Software is an early stage, angel funded, startup focused on delivering IT services for end users of Software as a Service (SaaS) applications. We help people maintain control of their business data even as they move that data onto applications hosted over the internet by 3rd party vendors. Our products, provide simple setup and complete integration with many of the leading SaaS applications to provide data backup and archiving, vendor migration, and managed security services. We want to convey a professional & modern yet cool & fun feel. You can see a little bit of our brainstorming design (no real designers involved) and get more info about our products and services at http://aanhouca.tech.officelive.com/default.aspx
- Brand Name
-
Centripetal Software
- Target Audience
- We target the fortune 5 Million, (small, medium and large businesses) who are using or evaluating the use of Software as a Service applications within their companies.
- Requirements
- We want to convey a professional & modern yet cool & fun feel. The ideal logo would be a combination of a graphic element and our company's name "Centripetal Software" in a clean and interesting typeface. We should be able to use the name and logo separately. We don't mind if the "Software" in the name is smaller, "Centripetal" should pop more than "Software". The logo should incorporate the notion of Centripetal Force in some way. Particulary using the definition "force that is directed inward toward the center". See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centripetal_force As with any logo, we would prefer colored logos that work well also in grayscale, B&W, small sizes, 2D, etc. The logo will primarily be used on white backgrounds but should look good on other light color backgrounds as well. We're not too particular about colors, but have liked other logos that we've seen that incorporate oranges and blues (not necessarily together). Much of our current application uses the same color schemes you see on the http://aanhouca.tech.officelive.com/default.aspx pages (logos, gradients, etc.)
