I have to say that the client is/was STILL deliberating. Getting embarrassed as I am at the time it has taken, I have insisted on a winner, on the understanding that they may change their mind and pay the prize money again to an alternate entry. It isn't definite, but others may still be in the running.

Apologies for the delay on this all. I have spoken to the client today and they are still deliberating and would like to have another meeting tomorrow. I will have the winner announced the second they let me know!

Wow 83 entries, many of them outstanding. Thank you very much indeed all. I will be consulting with the client on Tuesday (forgot it was Easter weekend....oh to have holiday) and will announce a winner (and issue the prize) on Wednesday morning (UK time - will be evening for those of you a long way east!).
Again, I can't heap enough praise on some of these entries. It really is a shame there can only be one winner. As I mentioned earlier though, watch out for another comp in the next couple of weeks for my own website where I will almost certainly be having multiple winners (the idea being that the site is "styled" differently using a switcher).

To all beginners:
Photoshop/Indesign FX like reflecting glass, aqua or soft shadows is not very useful for printing. You can't change a dark shadow into a white shadow if you want to print on dark underground. Also make sure your !VECTOR! object is done in CMYK. Thats the color model for offset printing. DO NOT USE RGB! RGB is the color model for the monitor/webcolors.
If you want my logo to be used for anything on your site let me know as it could be used for a variety of different companies.
Have added feedback for people. Also wanted to say that there are so many damn good entries to this it is going to be tremendously hard to pick a winner!
I will however be setting up a comp next week (for my own site) in which there will probably be multiple winners, so keep an eye out.
