We're looking for a quality company logo and logotype design. Orange Valley will be a new internet consultancy company working for top500 companies in the Netherlands and Belgium and will start with the business units: "coversion optimization", "social media" and "project management" (on internet marketing).

Our company will be about the new rules of marketing. That's also the reason why we will have the logo designed by an online contest. How could we give advise on social media to large companies if we don't use it ourselves :-)
Optimizing the internet platform on sales and communication will be our business. A large part is consultancy, but there is also a project management side, so we hope not only to create great ideas, but also help them really getting started at the companies we work for. Our tagline will be "improving your online business" (not to be mentioned in the Orange Valley logo).
The company will start with 3 business units:
/conversion (conversion optimization: getting more people who get in touch with a company on an online platform to better reach their intended goals. Improve online service levels and sales using tools from usability testing to multi variate testing).
/socialmedia (social media: helping companies to communicate with their customers online. Learning them to listen and talk using social media tooling. Customer feedback management, stimulating word-of-mouth, co-creation, but also optimizing internal communication, breaking down walled gardens).
/projects ((internet marketing) project management). Making sure that everything we create will be executed in the best way.
The company has 3 partners and we will hire 1 leading face with (online) authority for every business unit (which than will grow with more people). More business units in the future is a possibility. The company will also represents some unique products and methods.
We stimulate knowledge sharing. Each employee will get an average of 1 day a week to share knowledge (and create authority) by publishing (blogging) and organising events. We also stimulate the employees to spend some time in a year on volunteer work (in company time), just to do more than making money and investing some well paid consultancy time back in the world.
- The logo and logotype should reflect our business but also our company core values:

- The design should be a "wow i wanna work with them" design to our potential customers: banking / insurance / telco / large retail / government.
- The people we want to hire are:
- skilled
- empathic
- inquisitive
- involved
- tenacious
- Something with orange (not the fruit, the colour!)(2nd colour is no problem, no favour other than a colour that is reflecting who we are)
- Our tagline "improving your online business" is not for the logo.
- "internet consultants" can be added to the logo/logotype, but we're not sure if that makes it too much. So, you don't have to do this!
- Something unique, no copies and the we would like to recieve the full legal rights on the design which is chosen to win.
- Complete design delivered in a vector format (Photoshop)!
- I don't like to restrict people, but will fill this if people are moving in the wrong direction! (which did now)
- to get you started if you don't have the good energy or inspiration vibes.

- having the logo build around the O of "orange", so the logo type reads "range valley" :-)
- just the O and the V as a logo, if you have a logo, it should reflect the companies core values.
