Another dead contest?

aside from all of that....your designs are nice palmateer...funny how the best designs usually dont make the final cut

... because he isn't getting into all the drama with this contest. He had more of a right than anyone to bit*h, and he didn't really. Can't say I would have been so reserved.

my_own_designs... I totally agree with you. I do think that your design should have been removed, because really it was the same as palmateer's... BUT, the others need to go also. ESPECIALLY MYND'S! I have never seen someone on here actually cut and paste someone else's work into their own design. Horrifying. I will also be contacting the moderators and hopefully getting her account revoked. Anyone who does that does not deserve to compete on this site. All we can do is hope that the contest holder recognizes this. And I must say, if I don't win then I hope palmateer does. He has come up with his own designs and I think they are great. Not to mention, he just seems like a good guy.

this is ridiculous. i get my entry withdrawn because it has a similar concept to palmateer's but MYND get's 4 stars when she literally copies palmateer's drop and uses it in her logo? give me a break. if my entries are withdrawn because they are similar you should definitely remove MYND's entries because they plagiarize!

what about people like greenmushroom and DGTL? they logos look like logos already out on the market. why don't they get withdrawn? everyone keeps bringing up examples of how greenmushroom's logo looks like at least 10 different logos already out in the world and i am sure it's only a matter of time until someone mentions how DGTL's newest logo looks like half of the natural gas companies out there. if you are gonna withdraw my entries these entries need to go as well.

MYND's entries need to be removed immediately. He may have changed the puddle that he stole from palmateer, but he is still using the drop that palmateer created. totally un-ethical, and i will be contacting 99 designs to get his account terminated

did you stick up for palmateer just to butter him up before YOU stole one of his ideas??? C'mon! Same shades of blue. Blog lighter than the Dropper. Both "p's" dripping into a puddle. All you did was change the font. Quit being a hypocrite and get some of your own designs.

thanks for sticking up for me. I have PM'd MYND letting them know that if they do not remove their entries that stole my imagery that i will report them to 99 designs. sadly, these things happen on this site from time to time. we can only hope that the Contest Holder recognizes the fact that MYND is ripping of my imagery. thanks again.

MYND, i can't believe palmateer hasn't reported you for using his drop or at least called you out on it. you may have changed the puddle you stole from him, but the drop is still 100% copied from him. seriously, do you have any ethics at all? don't you feel bad stealing someone else's design?

oh! i figured it out. sometimes when you are in hotmail an ad comes up that says "mix it up, choose your inbox color" and it is basically the same logo as greenmushroom's.

i agree with you preppy. i said it in the past. i know i have seen it some where. perhaps as a printers' logo? it definitely looks like a printer's mark.

Exactly! You're correct right there. I think I've explained myself on my previous reply. To be honest, I don't want to start any argument for something which doesn't worth so much time.
